Liverpool. One of the greatest games ever. Considering that Liverpool were total underdogs in the match, assumed to be outclassed by Milan (which was true for the first 45), the eventual victory was as close to feeling like destiny as you can get. The stories about this one will live on for decades, as well they should.
The Fevernova - best ball ever. A bittersweet tournament, because in the moments after Owen scored against Brazil I genuinely felt we'd go on to win the whole thing (haven't felt it since). Beckham lifting the trophy would have been an unsurpassable football memory as a fan. 2006 - Knockout stages full of titanic, nail-biting battles.
What's more impressive that most of these matches happened within the last 20 years. This long list might be incomplete, so anyone is more than welcome to add any additional matches that I have might missed. Charlton Athletic F.C. 7–6 Huddersfield Town F.C. in Football League Second Division 1957–58.

1950s Hungary national team. Stuff of legend. Pep's Barca, because it was fun to watch how they outplayed every team, small teams, big teams, top teams, all of them change their style of play just not to get destroyed 6-0. Bayern Munich under Jupp Heynckes (which culminated with the treble in 12/13).
Match engine is more varied and has fixed most of the issues at launch (too many fk goals, corner goals, long shots, etc). Keepers still need improvement, but that's current with every version. Training is really improved as well and there is a ton of categories.
“It was the best performance I’ve ever seen.” Barcelona smashed their fierce rivals in 2010. Goals from Xavi, Pedro, David Villa (2) and Jeffren gave the Catalan giants a 5-0 victory.
